Discrepancy between help file and product

Build 4001, Secutor Prime Pro, 32-bit JVM, 64-bit targets, Windows 2008 R3, SCAP files generated by Microsoft's Security Compliance Manager. In the "Getting Around the Interface" topic in the help file is a list of icons that can show up next to items in "Fix" mode. Unfortunately...

Although we're not at all "authoritative", we're having some success using Microsoft's Security Compliance Manager to produce SCAP files. SCM lets us start with the MS guidelines for 2008 R2, make modifications to fit our local environment, and then generate the SCAP files. Doesn't work pe...

Robert, Unfortunately, that explanation doesn't quite work. I had no deviation files until I opened up Deviations Manager with Secutor Prime Pro build 3032 and tried to create one. Have you tried to this with SCAP files generated by Microsoft's Security Compliance Manager? That's where mine came fro...

More information

After more searching in the help files, I discovered that I could also add deviations by right-clicking on each failed item and selecting "Add Deviation". I got exactly the same dialog box, but this time it worked. Deviation added, shows up in deviation file and details report, and so fort...

Deviation file with no content, no deviations shown

I'm using the 32-bit Secutor Prime Pro build 3032 to test Windows Server 2008 R2, using SCAP files generated from Microsoft Security Compliance Manager. I use the 64-bit tests in Securot. I create a Deviations file using the process described in the help file: 1. Open Deviations Manager. 2. Enter al...

Extra failures

That's unfortunate, as there doesn't seem to be a clean way to get a list of failures. Am I missing something?

It seems to be fine

Running with the 32-bit Java seemed to fix things. Thanks.

Reinstall fixed things (for now)

I removed and then reinstalled both Java and Secutor. It's working from the shortcut again.

Java machine crashing - update 2

Oops. Now not even the shortcut works. It's still crashing Java.
Weird thing is that it worked once or twice, then quit.
I'm going to clean out everything and reinstall

Java machine crashing at the start of an assessment - Update

I was able to create a shortcut with the command line it in it. If I then right-click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator", things work. Still get the "Application startup irror with Secutor Prime Standard" error, however.

Export is reporting extra compliance failures - Update

I ran an assessment using the Secutor-supplied W2K3 SSLF SCAP files. Secutor reported 47 failures. CSV had 55, including 37 with CCE numbers and 18 without. Still doesn't match, but closer
