Moving Secutor from Windows to Linux, licensing question

Postby JohnY47 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 7:11 am

What are the licensing issues involved with moving an installation from a Windows server to a Linux box? Would I be allowed to use the same key?

Secutor Prime, Prime Pro, and Prime MD licenses are all for use as a single installed instance. If you remove a copy of Prime from a machine and the license is still valid, you can use that same license on a different install regardless of the operating system.

The Auditor version of Secutor Prime has different licensing options. You'll need to look at the license agreement in that case or ask you sales rep.

The current release of Prime does not work well with Linux, but a new release will be out very soon (it looks like a few weeks if not less) that is designed to run on Linux and OSX.

Non-Windows versions of Prime will not be able to do remote assessments of Windows targets.
